Purchase and withdrawal terms
Updated 4 November 2026
These terms explain how buying works when you buy a business's products on Koillishub.
Buying in short:
- Contract of sale: The contract of sale is made between you and the seller when the payment succeeds. The seller is the business that sells the product. Koillishub passes on the order and the payment on the seller's behalf.
- Payment: The payment goes directly to the seller's own Stripe account.
- Delivery: The seller delivers the products itself. At checkout you choose pickup or shipping from the methods the seller offers and see the delivery costs before paying. If there is no choice, you agree delivery with the seller. Gift cards and tickets are sent to your email right after payment.
- Right of withdrawal: You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the product or the gift card code. There is no right of withdrawal for products made to order. The ticket is for a specific date, so it has no 14-day right of withdrawal.
- Responsibility for the product: The seller is responsible for the product and any defects in it.
1. Placing an order
Add the products to your cart. The cart can hold products from one seller at a time. Choose a delivery method if the seller offers them, and enter your contact details, your delivery address for shipping and, if you wish, a message to the seller. Accept the terms and pay for the order. This is how the order is confirmed:
- Formation of the contract: The contract of sale with the seller is made when the payment succeeds.
- Confirmation and receipt: You receive an order confirmation and a receipt by email; the receipt is issued in the seller's name.
- Time to pay: The products you order are reserved for you for a limited period within which you must pay. If the payment completes only after this period, the order is confirmed if the products are still available. If they have run out, you automatically receive a full refund.
2. Prices and delivery costs
Prices are set by the seller. They include VAT, and the total price of the order is shown before payment.
When the seller has chosen its delivery methods, the delivery costs are included in the amount paid on Koillishub. Pickup is free, and the price of shipping is set by the seller. The seller may offer free shipping when the total price of the products is at least a certain limit. No delivery costs are charged for gift cards and tickets.
If there is no choice of delivery method at checkout, the delivery costs are not included in the amount paid on Koillishub. The seller's delivery terms then state the delivery methods and their costs, and you pay the delivery costs to the seller as agreed. You do not have to pay delivery costs that were not disclosed to you before the order.
3. Payment
Payment works in the same way as for bookings:
- Payment processing: Payments are processed by Stripe.
- Recipient of the payment: The payment goes directly to the seller's own Stripe account (Stripe Payments Europe).
4. Delivery and pickup
Delivery and pickup are handled as follows:
- Delivery methods: The seller offers pickup, shipping within Finland or both, and you choose the delivery method at checkout. For pickup you see the pickup address and pickup hours, and for shipping the price and delivery time. The delivery method you chose and its details are in your order confirmation.
- The seller delivers: The seller delivers the order itself using the method you chose: for pickup, the products can be collected at the place the seller has stated, and for shipping, the seller sends them to the address you gave.
- When no delivery method is chosen at checkout: If the seller has not chosen delivery methods, it states its delivery terms and delivery time on the product page, at checkout and in the order confirmation. After the order, the seller contacts you and you agree on delivery or pickup. You can also contact the seller yourself using the contact details in the order confirmation.
- Gift cards: You receive the gift card code by email right after payment. The gift card is valid for the period stated on the product page, 12 or 24 months from the date of purchase. The last day of validity is in the email. The gift card is used all at once.
- Tickets: You receive the ticket code by email right after payment. Each ticket has its own code. Show the code at the event. The code is valid until the end of the day of the event. If the seller changes the time of the event, the code is valid for the new time. The seller informs ticket buyers of changes to the event.
- Delivery time: The seller delivers the product within the time it has stated. If no delivery time has been agreed, the seller must deliver the product no later than 30 days after the purchase.
5. Statutory right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the product. If the products are delivered in several lots, the period runs from the receipt of the last lot. For a gift card, the period runs from when you receive the code by email. There is no right of withdrawal for:
- Products made to order: Products that are made or personalised to your specifications. The product page then says “Made to order”.
- Tickets: The ticket is for a specific date, so it has no 14-day right of withdrawal. This is stated on the product page and at checkout before payment.
- Sealed products: Products sealed for health protection or hygiene reasons whose seal has been broken.
- Mixed products: Products that, after delivery, have become inseparably mixed with other items.
You can withdraw as follows:
- Withdrawal function: Use the website's withdrawal function, that is, the Withdraw from contract here link at the bottom of the site and in your order confirmation. Koillishub forwards the notice to the seller and acknowledges it to you by email.
- Directly to the seller: Notify the seller of your withdrawal using the contact details in your order confirmation.
After you withdraw, the following applies:
- Returning the product: Return the product to the seller without delay and no later than 14 days after your notice of withdrawal.
- Return costs: You pay the cost of returning the product if the seller's return terms said so before the order. Otherwise the seller pays the costs.
- Handling the product: You are liable for any diminished value of the product only if it results from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.
- Refund of your money: The seller refunds the amount you paid no later than 14 days after your notice of withdrawal. The refund also includes the delivery costs you paid to the seller, based on the least expensive delivery method. The seller may withhold the refund until it has received the product back or until you have shown that you have sent it back.
The seller handles the withdrawal and the refund.
6. If the seller cancels
If the seller cancels the order, for example because the product is not available, you receive a full refund of the amount you paid.
If the event you bought a ticket for is cancelled, the seller refunds the ticket price in full.
7. Refunds
The following applies to refunds:
- Payment method: All refunds are paid to the payment method you used.
- Gift cards and tickets: When the whole order is refunded, its valid codes are cancelled. A cancelled code can no longer be used.
8. Defects and complaints
The seller is liable for defects in the product under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. Notify the seller of a defect within a reasonable time after you discovered it. A notice given within two months is always in time. The seller cannot refer you to the manufacturer.
The seller is responsible for the accuracy of the product information on the product page.
Dispute resolution, consumer advice and the Consumer Disputes Board are described in section 17 of the terms of use.
9. Prohibited and dangerous products
If you suspect that a product is dangerous or breaches Koillishub's terms, report it using the Report link on the product page. Our contact point for product safety is info@noxisfin.com.
